Project Description
Viking Myths
In Asgard, the kingdom of the Aesir, Odin, the father of all things, senses that a danger threatens the order of the world. In search of the source of knowledge, he undertakes an initiatory journey which leads him to Yggdrasil, the world tree. Suspended for nine days and nine nights, without drinking or eating, enduring the worst suffering, he made a terrifying discovery: Ragnarök, the final battle of the gods against the giants, will indeed take place. Meanwhile, his “sworn brother”, the god Loki, plays a bad trick on Sif, the wife of Thor, his eldest son: he cuts her magnificent hair, provoking the fury of the husband.
In collaboration with the production company Rosebud, we designed the animated sequences for the 10 episodes of the series by mixing 3D motion capture animations and 2D sets.
